Questions and answers of the customers

  1. A I think so I remember calling Garmin and I think they said syncs with all of their watches
  2. A Yes. Works with all Garmin products as long as the product has heart rate monitoring capability
  3. A I have it paired to my garmin watch, not the app
  4. A Yes... but this is definitely not for you! I've been through 2, and if you sweat (which you will on the peloton) then it gets inside the battery compartment and causes it to explode and runs the device. Each one lasted less than 15 uses.
  5. A I do not know what this is.
  6. A If your exercise bike has the ability to connect to ANT, then yes. Many exercise bikes do not though. I would suggest contacting the manufacturer of your bike to confirm.
  7. A If the device have Bluetooth, yes
  8. A They use puppy blood and guts to get the dark color. Other than that, no.
  9. A If both have ANT+ reading capabilities, or you can buy a ANT+ reader.
  10. A No lo sé, uso iOS junto con la aplicación Garmin me registra los datos.
  11. A I am certain this is compatible with all Garmin units.
  12. A Yes, it was in a Garmin box. I returned it because it would not link to my iPad. Pretty much only works with Other Garmin devices.
  13. A I am not sure... Sorry
  14. A Oh, really I don’t know. Sorry
  15. A From my experience, these HRMs are compatible that way. Good luck.
  16. A All ANT+ cycling computers and ANT+ comparable running watches. Virtually any Garmin device, plus many others. It does not support Bluetooth, so it will not work with Smart Phones. I do use it with a ANT+ dongle on my PC for Zwift virtual cycling.
  17. A If the app can use input through the ANT+ connection (usually via USB) then it will work.
  18. A If you device(forerunner is Ant+ compatible then yes, it will work.
  19. A From Garmin: Forerunner 235This device has a wrist-based heart rate monitor and is compatible with ANT‍+ heart rate monitors. The strap is ANT+ and works great with Garmin cycling computers too.
  20. A Sorry, I have no idea. I sync it with my Garmin Vivofit.
  21. A I've had the plastic strap for several years, it has worked flawlessly except in colder weather (but that would be a problem with all of them). Unfortunately, this morning the right side plastic snapped off, so it no longer works as one of the sensors is on each side, not repairable either, since the connections to that sensor broke. Just an FYI that the plastic strap CAN break, and if it does, it is pretty much time for a complete replacement.
  22. A The Garmin HR monitor supports Ant + which is compatible with the garmin foreruner 25.
  23. A If 'Map my Fitness' is a Garmin device or application I would think it would work. Just make sure that the electrodes are moist against the chest to ensure a heart rate signal can be detected.
  24. A Only if this has a mode that allows paring of the two if not then it will not work
  25. A To be compatible, the phone would have to have an ANT+ receiver. If it doesn't have a built in ANT+ receiver, you might or might not be able to buy an adapter. Once you have ANT+ receiver on your phone, you would then need a Garmin app.
  26. A Buying this heart rate monitor was a terrible experience, it only worked one month, waste of money!
  27. A Will this work with my Garmin vivofit
  28. A I think so but it would be best to call Garmin directly.
  29. A Can’t say, since I don’t possess said watch.
  30. A I bought one and it worked only one month, it was a waste of money, the supplier didn’t respond my claim, don’t buy it!
  31. A nope, it does through a Sports Watch in my case the Garmin Forerunner 310XTwhich also gives you speed, distance, etc.
  32. A It's compatible with all ANT+ devices.

  34. A I think it will, it has a large range of adjustment.
  35. A The belt is the heart rate monitor. The Garmin Vivofit will just track your activity, you have to sync to the monitor to get your heartrate. :)
  36. A Yes. The watr is basically shallow so it isn't a problem and the Vivo fit I use mine with is also waterproof so exercise away.
  37. A I doubt it but I don't know. I suggest checking the Garmin web site for compatibility. Generally Garmin pairs with Garmin products. Polar is the most widely used & compatible with HRM devices/equipment in gyms. A Polar strap may work with the iPhone if Garmin doesn't.
  38. A only android phones with ANT+ hardware
  39. A I don't know. Haven't heard of that app. If you are wearing a Garmon device such as the 210, 810 or 910XT, the data from that device can be uploaded to Garmin Connect - a free web-based app, Once in Garmin Connect, that file can then be exported into one of 3 file types on your hard drive. If Daily Burn can import one of those 3 file types, it might work.
  40. A Vivofit should work with it based on DC Rainmaker's review at http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2014/01/vivofit-activity-monitors.html --- Garmin HR strap uses ANT+ protocol to transmit, not Bluetooth. You should be good to use, but I would double check Vivo site before purchase.
  41. A Yes it uses ANT +. Garmin website lists this item as one of the accessories for the Edge 310xt.
  42. A Coin cell, size 2032
  43. A Not sure. May want to contact garmin direct. I know it works with my 305.
  44. A This is NOT a stand alone device. In my case this HRM wirelessly transmits signal to a Garmin Forerunner 305 that tracks heart rate, GPS location and other data for upload to a computer program.
  45. A Extended full the soft strap is tight on my 50 inch chest but has lasted 2 sweaty workouts a week now for 3 or 4 months. It will dig under your pecs during a workout. I will buy another soon.
